How Do I Turn OFF Call Forwarding

I am required to have a landline and must show documentation that it does not have call waiting or call forwarding. I have a digital home phone (plugs into my modem). Traditional landlines (phone jacks in the wall that will work even if there is a power outage) are no longer available in my area - from anyone.

I realize that the call forward and call waiting features do not have to be activated. That is not relevant to my question.  I am required to show that call forwarding and waiting are not part of my service and cannot be turned on. How can I do so?

JefferMC, thank you. That's what I was afraid of, but I wanted to ask and see if there was something I might have overlooked.

I don't know what else you can do other than explain to your employer and pinkie promise to never, ever use these horrible features.
