CL82547 Family of phones ( I don't remember the exact model number but that's on the Abridged user Manual plus others
Once you charge the wireless home phone, are you supposed to keep charging it even after it's fully charged? Or are you supposed to take it off the charger? If you leave it on the charger, does that wear out the battery faster?

If it hurts the battery to leave them on the charger than I'd have a bunch of bad phones, and I don't. Per page 9 of the manual for the CL82547 leave the handset in the charger.

All the bases must stay plugged in. Leaving the phone on the charger or not is up to you. Many people leave it on the charger so that it doesn't sit around letting the battery discharge, or allow the phone to get misplaced having to find it.
It is my understanding this model is like many electronics these days where they have smart charging. Once registered at full, the base should not be charging the handset until removed and placed back after use, unlike trickle type charging of older electronics that never shut off. As such, leaving it on the charger is fine. Some people who use their phone often, like lots of short calls, instead of back and forth on the charger only put it back at night or when it reaches 20% or 1 of 3 bars if that type (preferably before it yells at you to charge it).
