Caller ID stopped working

Caller ID stopped working on my DECT6.0 after about 2 months of using this phone. I hooked up my old phone and it works OK on it.

Let's get your caller ID working again, @davem5040!

 

Please give these a try to see if it rectifies your caller ID:

  • Replace phone cord that connects to the phone base
  • Use a different phone with caller ID connected to the gateway
  • Unplug phone base from power and plug back in after 15 seconds
  • Reset the phone or phone base if available

Did you try any of the troubleshooting steps that Caleb provided? If not, please do so, and let us know if they helped fix your caller ID.

 

If it's still not working, we suggest turning in a repair ticket to get your phone fixed. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/repair and select Home Phone.
  2. Enter your home phone number and select Continue.
  3. Tell us about the problem you're having, then select Continue.
  4. Review any troubleshooting steps to see if you can fix it yourself.
  5. Follow the prompts to submit your ticket.

Pull up your make and model of phone's manual to make sure there's not an option to turn CID off. Who's your service provider?
