No dial tone

moved into new home...(transferred my service)

From day 1 no dial tone

Att comes out and says yes it's showing connectivity to home

Yet I have tried the only two phone jacks there are and STILL no dial tone

btw no matter What company u call for assistance be SURE and understand "Their menu options have changed."

Gone are times you could actually talk with someone without 5 different punches on phone first.

Have you checked it at the NID?  If not do so and if good you'll need someone to check your wiring, if it is bad at the NID report it to the phone company.

what is the NID? If that is the wiring to the outside of house, that is what ATT said was good and connected.

To see the different NID's and how to test use your favorite search engine.  Don't go by what the phone company "told" you check it yourself.  If it's good at the NID you need to get someone to check from the NID in to the jacks.  Some electritions do it and there are low voltage wiring companies that do it.
