How to fix leaning telephone pole?
There is a telephone pole in our front yard that is leaning, and PGE claims it belongs to the phone company. However, I have been unable to reach the phone company despite multiple attempts. I have called various numbers on the ATT site, only to be transferred numerous times and left on hold. When I used the Repair Dept number provided to me, I was put on hold again, and when I requested a callback, someone from Sales called me back, but was unable to assist me.
Fortunately, a neighbor who works for Verizon was able to provide me with some contact numbers for ATT employees. Using these numbers, we were able to get a technician out to assess the pole, but he could not confirm that it belonged to ATT and was unable to log into their app to verify the information. He indicated that the pole sounded hollow and may be rotted.
I am now concerned about the safety of this pole and the potential for it to cause harm or damage property if it falls. Can you advise me on how to get someone out here quickly to take care of this issue?
