Green Boxes on the Street

Hello,

I work for the City of Knoxville and a neighbor on N. Broadway keeps reaching out for the City to clean up some ugly green utility boxes left on the sidewalk. I reached out to the Public Service Department and they said that the boxes belong to AT&T. I have no idea who to contact about their removal. If you could please point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. The neighbors are contacting the Mayor and holding the City to the fire for the boxes littering the sidewalk.

Thank you

Pictures would help, I can't imagine boxes "littering" the sidewalks. Are you talking covers for buried utilities?  One they won't remove them if they are pull boxes or have service going through them, if they're damaged and creating a hazard they will repair them.  Use this link to get to the right group.  I can't believe the city streets department doesn't have a contact for this type of problem.

Thank you for the response!
Maybe this isn't called a "box" but this is what I am referring to.

That's a terminal that someone left the lid off of, easy to put back on.  If you want call the number I linked.
