Determining if AT&T Right of Way is active or abandoned

My name is Ed (Edited as per community guidelines) with Locus Real Estate (Edited as per community guidelines) [email scrubbed]. I am purchasing a property at the intersection of NC Hwy 49 and NC Hwy 8 (Badin Lake Road) for development. I have an old map showing an AT&T easement across the property and need to speak with someone about the status of this line.
