CHANGE TO LANDLINE

HORRIBLE UVERSE DROPS CALLS I requested a change to basic landline service a week ago. I was told someone would have to call me back. When I received the call I had to go through several channels with offers of products before I was transferred to the department that supposedly could help. That call was disconnected. After an hour of repeating my request for change, I have to go to work and cannot deal with anymore. PLEASE JUST PROCESS PEOPLE'S REQUEST WITHOUT ALL THE SHENNANIGANS AND CHANNELS.

Customer service is a thing of the past!  AT&T needs to bring the call centers back to America, and keep them local.  I miss the BELL Companies!  #Bellsouth

When I had the UVERSE with Cable, both would go out all of the time. After awhile, I finally requested to cancel UVERSE and replace it with a landline. I was told by a supervisor that I had an appointment to replace the UVERSE with a landline on a Thursday, I never received anytime of confirmation nor reminder. On the day the change over was to take place, my cable and UVERSE went out again! After, literally, being on hold for over an hour I was disconnected with the "customer service" representative that was checking on the status of the arrival of the technician. I will never recommend AT&T to anyone. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! As I write this I'm on hold, yet again, to find out when the technician is supposed to show up for the change over.
