1080 Small Business System

We have 3 phones on our AT&T Small Business System, the main phone has started to ring once, and then the line goes from green to red and I cannot pick up the call. When we call from our own cellphones, its going a voicemail. Although it's not the voicemail my Boss had recorded, it is a generic voicemail. My Boss can still answer the line from the phone in her office, even after my phone has turned the line red and I am unable to pick it up.

If it's only one phone than it's either the phone or the wiring to it. Swap it out with one of the other phones and see if the problem follows the phone or the location it's plugged into to determine which it is. It's most likely going to the phone company voicemail and if that's the case and you only want to use the phone systems answering system ask the phone company to turn the voicemail off.
