I received a letter supposedly from AT&T Services, Inc. but not sure if it is legit

I received a letter supposedly from you guys, saying there was an overpayment amount on an old account and that I should claim the money by either filling out the paper form (asking for name and address) or to enter in my claim by going to "ClicktoClaim.com."

The letter says the funds will be sent to the state treasury if I do not perform this action by 'such n such' date.

Letter ID: ATT-2F22-.....

Do you all send out letters like this?

While there are legitimate websites that offer that 'service' be aware that they're going to want a cut of the money.

Do a little research before signing up for any such service.

ETA:  Clicktoclaim.com is operated by an accounting firm.  At least that's what the website says.  🤷‍♀️

I would call Billing and see if they have a record or your overpayment or just go back and look at your statements. If it's Autopay it will be on your credit card statement or however you Autopay.
