How to port AT&T Landline to another carrier

How do I get the pin number to my AT&T landline to port it to a different carrier?  The pin number is not anywhere in my online account, nor is an option to change it.  Is this pin on my bill?

Hello @bobgordon! Thank you very much for contacting AT&T.

To port your number to a different carrier, you will need a Security Passcode to share with the other carrier in order to start the process. Normally, this passcode is a 4 digit-number you can look up on your online account by changing it or reseting it in case you don't remember it. You can also contact our LandLine department for further assistance; our goal is to help you as much as we can, that is why I got for you the direct line as well as chat option to contact the DSL/Landline Department. You can use one of the following ways of contact:

On the link there is a chat option available.

Or by contacting the specialized Department over the phone: 877-677-2384

If it is a traditional POTS line the pin consists for the 4 digits following your phone number in the upper right hand corner of the bill.

@dm2850 My POTS bill only has a 3 digit number on it.
