You start by calling AT&T customer service to see if traditional landlines are available in your area.

You do not, it appears. According to the AT&T Customer Service person I had on the phone for an issue with my home phone landline, they are phasing out Land Line support and want you only to have Mobile service.

Yes they are phashing out landlines, but there's still areas they are available. The statement that they are only going to have mobile service isn't acurate, at least at this time, as they still have digital service over the Internet.

@spoom2 Thanks, unfortunately, tell that to the AT&T employee who told me I had no options other than Cellular and my landline was no longer supported.

Sounds like they were trying to get rid of you. If you already have a landline and are paying for it, it's still supported. If you're being told otherwise escalate to a customer care executive by filling out the form, ignore the header.
