home phone stopped working

My home phone is not working. I have internet but I get the busy signal when I try to use my phone. Normally I have three signal strength bars on my at&t model IFWA-40 device but now I have none. I had the sim card replaced but still no signal. Where do I go next?

Happy to say problem solved. Just a simple matter of holding in the reset button for about thirty seconds. Can't tell you what a relief it is. Amazing how the mind immediately goes to worst case scenario. Thank you spoom2 for your reply.

What lights are lit? Assuming this has been working fine since the doing away with the 3G service and was upgraded to 4G LTE if there's no bars or lights the unit may be bad or it's something to do with the cell signal. What have you tried?

All lights are normal with the exception of the Network Status Indicator which is out meaning no SIM. Yesterday I brought it into my local AT&T store to replace the SIM but obviously the device is still not seeing it. Today I will bring it back and hopefully they will replace it or somehow correct the problem.

Hi Alexa3, I am not sure your issue is the same. Mine was with my home phone and not my mobile. I hope someone sees your message and can help you. Good luck.

That's probably because your post look like spam and you post an unknown link. I've yet to see just what your issue is.

My phone automatically turned off when I used the browser.

Makes no sense at all. What phone what internet service. You're posting in the home phone forum so browsers have nothing to do with home phone service.

That is not a home phone issue, if you're having Internet problems post in the Internet forum, but you're going to have to provide more information than you have.

Hi Alexa3, been following your dilemma. I can only make guesses but maybe this website is infected with a virus that shut down your device? I really don't know. I would be interested in knowing what caused your problem. I wish you the very best of luck.
