AT&T Business Landline Customer Service is Horrible
AT&T sends out a letter to renew my business local calling contract. It states: "visit att.com/BLCrenewal, easy contract renewal instructions" I go to the link, a webpage opens, requesting the phone number of the account I need to renew. I enter it in, only to receive this error message "we are having trouble accessing your account at this time, please call customer service". I try to call the customer service number provided, I get put on hold - then I am abruptly disconnected, or placed onto a line with only static, 4 different times. I try to use the "easy contract renewal" website for 4 days in a row, and it continues to give me the same error message. I try to use chat to renew my BLC, but I'm told it cannot be taken care of in chat, even though while on hold, a message repeatedly urges me to use the website, or chat to handle my issue, which is of course IMPOSSIBLE to do - so frustrating!!! I call customer service again, and after 4 days, and 8 total phone calls, I finally get the stupid BLC renewed. I decide it's time to file a complaint. I call customer service to complain about the lack of business client customer service, and while I was told I was being transferred to a business landline customer service agent, I instead get transferred to a wireless agent, who, of course, cannot take my complaint because he is in the wrong department. I use chat again to try to file a complaint, and thank God the chat agent had a business landline agent call me to take my complaint. AT&T if you're going to send out letters to your customers with a website address with the claim of "easy contract renewal" you might want to make sure the (Edited per community guidelines) website is actually working. You need to make it possible to renew BLC in chat, especially if you're going to urge your customers to use that option. There needs to be major improvements in your customer service department communication abilities, and the usability of your website as a whole. I never seem to have any issue when it's time to pay the bill online, but God forbid I have a problem that needs to be fixed, nothing ever seems to work online to help me then.

You've posted in the residential forum. You'd be better served by posting in the business forum you'll need to reregister as it a totally separate forum.
