Unable to locate DM function as per an ATT rep's instruction below; please advise

We want to get you into a Direct Message to further investigate. Check your Direct Message Inbox (it’s the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums) and reply back.

First off, make sure you're logged into your forum account.

If you're on a phone or tablet, try rotating the screen to landscape mode and see if the top row of the forum will show up.

If not, try a different browser on your device.  For some reason certain browsers can't display the top row correctly..

It should look something like this. 

Do you see the chat box icon?  If the red dot isn't there then the DM expired.
