Hi there, @BarryStl. We understand that your email client of eM client is not picking up your att.net emails. We can look at that together.

We do know that eM client is not on our authorized list of email clients to be used, but we can make sure that settings are correct. Let's verify the email server settings for the account setup. To help you further along, here are the verification settings: (Warning: Since you are using an email client, that we do not have on our list, please use your users guide to follow along.)

  1. Select File, then Account Settings.
  2. Choose your AT&T email account and then select Change
  3. Confirm or enter the IMAP or POP settings.
    • Incoming server: imap.mail.att.net (IMAP)
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.att.net (IMAP)
  4. Check or enter your User Name (full AT&T Mail address).
  5. Enter your secure mail key in the password field and select the Remember password checkbox.
  6. Select Next. Outlook will test your account settings.
  7. Select Close, then Finish.

If you look at step 5, it is requiring you to use a Secure Mail Key.  If you have not created that yet, follow these steps in order to do so:

  1. Go to your myAT&T ProfileSign in, if asked.
  2. Scroll to My linked accounts, select the email account that needs a secure mail key.
  3. Scroll to Secure mail key, select Manage secure mail key.
  4. Choose the email address that you’d like to use, if you have more than one.
  5. Select Add secure mail key. Enter a nickname for the secure mail key to make it easy to recognize.
  6. Choose Create secure mail key.
  7. Select Copy secure mail key to clipboard. Make a note of your secure mail key  for further updates.
    • For security purposes, the secure mail key only displays until you select OK
    • If you lose or forget the secure mail key, you can always create new secure mail keys.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Go to your preferred email app, replace the existing password with your secure mail key. For an IMAP account, delete the existing password for both the IMAP and SMTP servers. Replace them with your secure mail key.

After checking the settings within the client, and replacing all password usage with the Secure Mail Key, see if you are able to check your mail. If you are still not able to and you have purchesed the paid version of eM client, then please contact eM client for assistance.

Please update us and let us know.
