Yahoo Mail Keeps Logging Me Out!!!
After reading my emails for about 10 minutes, I can't open any more emails. When I refresh the page, I keep getting logged out and have to log in again to continue reading my emails.

I checked the "keep me Logged In" box and so far I'm not having any issues with Yahoo Mail.

@Bottomzone That's great, but don't be discouraged if the problem occurs again even after you've checked off the box because it did happen to me before - but as I also said, since then I haven't experienced email issues recently. Just keep checking the "Keep me signed in" box each time you log in to your email and hopefully you'll be okay.

@Bottomzone I agree with Farfala.. I sign in all the time with "keep me signed in" checked.. but after a while, AT&T logs you off and you can be in the middle of typing out a long email and it will bump you off and then when I try to sign back in it says I tried too many times and I'm locked out.. have to click "Forgot Password" (which I did not).. then I type my password back in and I am in till the next time it bumps me out and I go through it all again. I've done their syncing and that does nothing.... right now am in my email and it's working.. Not sure how long I've been in now ...It probably won't be long and it will bump me out again... I think it's around every 2 weeks it bumps you out... and then you have to try and log back in.. Good luck ...

Thank you Mamacat and Farfala. So far, checking the "Keep me Logged In" box is preventing the problem from reoccurring but I won't be surprised if things go haywire again!

This is so frustrating...I have tried "keep signed in" and that doesn't even work. It might be because I log in from multiple devices. However, that should not matter. I have done this for YEARS and have never run into this. The only reason I have remained with ATT is because I want to keep my email account. I think it may be time to save what emails I need and go with another internet provider. It's obvious that this is not a high priority for them.

Since I checked the "Keep Me Signed In" box, I haven't had any issues so far. Let's see how long this will last!!!

I started a different post that is very similar to this one. Farfala is exactly right. This is an AT&T/Yahoo issue that should be resolved. And in the past I could have multiple sessions of my email open not only on 1 computer at the same time but also multiple sessions of my email open on different computers at the same time as I have 4 computers scattered around my house that I use on a regular basis. I'm an original "@prodigy.net" email member & have been doing this for many years. AT&T/Yahoo changed their software recently to cause these issues...

@Mike1000 agree... I've been trying to get mine working and have done their syncing and that does nothing... I don't use the att mail app on my phone because 99.9% of the time, I don't do email on my phone... I only use it on one computer..... Right now, I'm logged in and not having an issue.. I worry about when they bump me off and I have to resign in again.. that's when I have the issue... It's crazy... since One time trying to log in and it tells you that you attempted too many logins... How is one log in too many time. I had an issue with my bank where it did that too me.. I tried to log in once and it said I tried too many times.. In 5 minutes they had the problem fixed and I've not had the issue again... I hate when it logs me out right in the middle of me typing a very long email to someone..... and it's lost...
I really wish they would fix the problem... I'm using the sbcglobal.net email and have
for years since I was under southwestern bell.... ALL my bills are sent to this email and many other sites I use communicate to me with this email... It would take me a long time to make changes and I'd be afraid of missing something I really need... I could change to Gmail, but I like my email here and I'm comfortable with it...
I think they need to get a better programmer involved in fixing it...

I JUST got logged out of my email and had to log back in... ONCE AGAIN.. SAME PROBLEM... put in my user id: and then my password and it came back and told
me I attempted to log in many times... NO! I ONLY LOGGED IN ONCE!!!
So now I go through the chore of setting myself back up ... this is INSANE!!!!
I wish they would hire a decent programmer to fix this problem once and for all.. this has been going on for WAY too long... It's frustrating...
