Yahoo mail (ATT) (sbcglobal.net) requires password change after switching devices
I have used sbcglobal.net for decades - since I got it at a firm I worked at. It’s now ATT. It works fine on my iPhone. It works fine on my Mac. It works fine on my Windows 10 PC. But EVERY TIME I switch from the phone to a PC or Mac it tells me I have used the wrong password too often and directs me to change my password.

We understand how frustrating it can be to have to reset your password every time you log in, Billyfyre. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are in an age where everything is online and there are those out there taking advantage of that. The password resets are set to protect your account from suspicious activity.
The good news, we are seeing a reduction in attacks. We are NOT done though, because of the nature of the issue, our email teams will continue to monitor this and take action.
Below are steps to take to further secure, access and recover your email account.
You can update your security questions and answers. This keeps your information updated in case you forget your password.
You can set up text messages for password resets. Follow the steps to get a text with your temporary password next time. It helps you recover your email by sending a temporary code.
You can also create a secure mail key or use Open Authentication (OAuth). You’ll need one to access your AT&T email from a desktop program or email app.
Let us know if this helps.
