Yahoo Email login attempts kicks me out on Macbook but not on IOS
January. -I first was booted out of my Macbook Yahoo ATT email account in January after ATT had the horrible idea to force me one password. I was on phone for long time to get back into the Yahoo ATT email on my Macbook and had a reset of password.
March my Macbook email all of the sudden said Locked out from too many password attempts when only tried once after a 2 week login. My phone Password worked so password wasn't the only issue. After an hour and half on phone they got my Macbook email to work again making changes in Currently.com
April . AGAIN my Macbook email all of the sudden said Locked out from too many password attempts when only tried once after a 2 week log on. My phone Password worked. This time said had to Delink att.net to uverse etc accts.
May On phone with customer service for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Had to AGAIN DELINK the att.net account to the Uverse account
Hard Lock out of email forced to reset att.net password. They sent me a password in a text that I then had to us to log in and then forced to change my password for email. Recommends I do not use the same browser for email and Uverse logins. Use Safari for Uverse and Chrome for email. Have done that ever since
later May 2022 My email stopped working AGAIN on my macbook pro, says same message too many login attempts when I had only tried one time. Since this I have only used my smartphone for accessing my email. As you may know it does not allow for good search in your email and I eventually am fed up with not having the ability to access my email on my computer. I called for YET AGAIN another tortuous tedious repeat session on the phone. After a long wait I was told I was in the wrong department and needed to call back another time.
Is there anyone working at ATT that can give me an honest answer to if there is a real fix to this problem. I have had my ATT email for many many years but think I have no choice but to leave ATT and my email because this is not a way one can conduct business losing hours every few weeks and having no access to email on their laptop. I currently have no access on Macbook but do on IOS - It has been this way for a long month. ATT last phone call this am said someone would get back to me in 7 business days.
