Unable to access ameritech email account

Below is the error I receive when trying to access my email. I've emptied my cache and history; however, the issue is still there.

Something's gone wrong

We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later.

We want to help you access your email, @Jerewatson!

We've got a super helpful article that's full of troubleshooting tips and tricks to help resolve email issues. Since you've already cleared your cache and cookies, here are some other things we'd suggest trying:

  • Make sure that you’re using the latest version of a supported browser. You can use your AT&T email with the 2 most recent versions of Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Safari. Update or switch browsers, if necessary.
  • Try using a different device. Sometimes, the devices we use can contribute to email troubles.

In addition to trying the steps above, we've got a couple of questions to help us determine what steps to take moving forward.

  1. Are you accessing your email via Currently? Since it's supported by AT&T, doing so can help to alleviate some of the most common email errors.
  2. Are you experiencing issues connecting to anything else? If so, you may need to try rebooting your gateway. This can help to refresh your Internet connection.

We look forward to hearing back from you so that we can take the proper next steps to troubleshoot your email.

Yes.  I'm trying to use Currently and I'm not having issues with any other site

Thanks for getting back to us, Jerewatson.

We have a few more troubleshooting options that we'd like you to try:

  • Flush your computer's DNS cache. Sometimes, for various reasons, the DNS cache becomes corrupt or out of date. The most common result is that you can’t get to some web sites in your browser, or the websites don't properly load.
  • Disable IPv6. This can help improve the website's loading time.
  • Use an incognito browser. This is a workaround for some issues.
  • Restart your gateway and computer. Typically a reboot of devices such as your gateway and the device having the issue should correct it.

Let us know if any of this helped, or if you need further assistance.

Also, let us know if you're travelling -- that can sometimes lead to website trouble when trying to access email on Currently.

I am not currently connected via IPv6. I Flushed my computer. I used Incognito browser. I restarted my computer. I am not traveling. I'm home. None of the suggestions worked thus far. I am still seeing the same error. please advise. Thank you so much for your assistance.

We'll bring you into a Direct Message to see if there's anything else we can do, Jerewatson. Look for the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page.
