System does not recognize identifying information upon login
When logging in to my laptop, I am prompted to verify my personal information. When I enter that data, it says that it cannot verify my information and then lets me in to my mail. After several logins, it then sends a CARE CODE 205.2 message, asking me to reset my password.
Throughout the entire time, I am able to utilize my email through the Yahoo app with no issues.
I have an sbcglobal account that was linked with Yahoo.
It has also caused issues with my husband's account which is another email address associated with the primary account.

Let's get you both back into your email accounts on the laptop again, k_groth.
The reason why you are able to use the Yahoo app is because it uses a secure mail key instead of password. You can find out more information about secure mail keys by reading over the information found in our support article entitled: Use OAuth or secure mail key for email apps.
The first step into recovering your web mail account is to reset your password. Here is how you do that:
You will need to repeat this for both you and your husbands email account.
Please update us and let us know if you are able to get into your email accounts online.
