Spam email

I received 3 emails today from 3 different email addresses. When I report them to abuse@att.net, the emails are not delivered because the email address has been changed: Instead I get returned emails stating:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
(reason: 550 5.1.1 <[email scrubbed]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table) Note the address change! Is there an alternate ATT site?

Hi @Regdor, we understand your concern with spam emails, and we'd be glad to help!

 To remove your spam emails:

  1. Check the box to the left of the email message.
  2. In the email toolbar, select Spam.

We recommend to forward spam to us at abuse@att.net so we can investigate it further. Make sure you include the full header so we can find out exactly where it came from.

If a legitimate email is accidentally filtered into the spam folder, it's easy to correct using the following steps:

  1. Go to your Spam folder under your inbox folders.
  2. Check the box to the left of the email.
  3. Select Not Spam from the email toolbar to move it to your inbox.

You can create filters to send particular emails to spam, a folder, or your inbox.

  1. Select the gear and then More Settings.
  2. Choose Filters.
  3. Select Add to create a filter.
  4. Enter the conditions for your filter and then select Save.

You can also edit, delete, or prioritize filters

Let us know how it goes. Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.
