Reset my att.net password

I have no idea what my att password is, I haven’t used it in 10+ years. Of course, I don’t know what the answers to the security questions are either. I’ve tried every answer I could possibly think they would be and nothing works. I don’t have a recovery email or anything else, my only option to reset is to answer those questions.

What can I do?

Hi , we want to help get you back into your email.

Reset your AT&T Mail password using the Forgot password option.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password

You can also update your security questions:

  1. Go to Profile and then Sign-in info.
  2. In the Online security questions section, select Change security questions.
  3. Complete and save your security questions and answers.

Please keep us updated!

I have never had the option for a temporary password. Where is this at? I see my two security questions and a continue or cancel. No option anywhere for a temp password.

Thanks for clarifying, @babyoda

Since you don't have any recovery info saved and can't reset it yourself, we're going to need to speak privately to get your password reset. Please check the direct message inbox in the top right corner of the screen. We'll be messaging you there shortly.
