Poor customer service/ email issue
We are locked out of email and was told that we would hear back in 1 week. We recevied an email back saying to call blank number and use pin code. Since no phone number was in email we called customer service number. Apparently there are no notes in the file and no one knows anything about it. We have now been hung up on twice and have spent over an hour on the phone. Please contact.

We understand your frustration at not being able to login, and we are here to help resolve that, Chuckbecka.
We have a current known issue we are facing, where we are unable to request password resets or unlock accounts for AT&T e-mails that do not have a verified CBR, recovery e-mail, or address. This may be the case in regards to your e-mail, as we want to make sure that your e-mail remains safe.
If you do have one of those recovery options available, we will be able to invite you to a Direct Message to assist you. If not, you will need to continue reaching out to our customer service number at 1-800-288-2020 so they can assist you by filling out a form to add a recovery option to your account.

I’m dealing with this same issue. I can provide ID and everything to prove it’s me trying to get into my email. Can any agent help with this form to add recovery options to my email? I planned on going into my local AT&T store for help because 2 DM chats and 4 phone calls have been useless so far. I’m not trying to be mean, but it’s insane that I’m having to go through this and I’m over it.
