password recovery options
I don't have a mobile phone. I only have a landline. How can I setup a password recovery option without a mobile phone?

Hey @edfromut, let's clarify how you can set up your password recovery options.
The field requesting a wireless number is for viable recovery options in case you are ever locked out in the future.
You can follow these steps if you have an AT&T Wireless number:
If you do not have an AT&T Wireless number, then these are the steps you'd follow:
Heads up: It can take up to 30 days before you can use your wireless number to reset your password. This is for both AT&T and non AT&T Wireless numbers.
Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community Forums!

That's ridiculous. I do not text. So, I need to be able to receive a text to recover the email? Why can't a temporary password be sent to another email? Would that be too expensive for AT&T?

I don't have an AT&T billing account. So, the above solution "If you don't have an AT&T Wireless number:" doesn't work. There is no Contact Info and phone tab to edit. Now what?
