Not working SBCGLOBAL.NET mail

I could not receive any E-mail at my PC, IPhone and IPAD through my SBCGLOBAL.NET accounts from yesterday!!

Could you please help me to access my “SBCGLOBAL.NET” server - former AT&T mail service? Because I have been using this E-mail address over 20 years so that I can not change my E-mail address right now.  If I should change Yahoo or Currently.com mail I need to receive all of my previous mails & mailing address list.

Appreciate your help or advice in advance.

Best regards,

Hello @Frustratedwsbcglobalnet! We understand how frustrating this can be. No worries, let's see how we can keep your email current.

We recommend you Create a Secure mail Key. This may help you keep access to your current email. Here's how to do this:

  • Go to Profile and choose Sign-in info.
  • Select the email account that needs a secure mail key. (You’ll find a menu at the top if you have multiple accounts.)
  • Scroll to Secure mail key and select Manage secure mail key.
  • Choose the email address that you’d like to use, if you have more than one.
  • Select Add secure mail key and then enter a nickname for the secure mail key to make it easier to recognize.
  • Choose Create secure mail key.
  • Select Copy secure mail key to clipboard. Make a note of your secure mail key, so you have it handy if you need to update an email app on several devices.
    • For security purposes, the secure mail key only displays until you select OK
    • If you lose or forget the secure mail key, you can create new secure mail keys.
  • Select OK.
  • Go to your preferred email app and replace the existing password with your secure mail key. For an IMAP account, delete the existing password for both the IMAP and SMTP servers and replace them with your secure mail key.

Please let us know if this works for you. Thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Here to help you start receiving your emails again, @toshiokada.

Please use the following information as a reference to troubleshoot your email:

  • Be sure your email meets message size limits. If your email is too long, it may not be sent successfully.
  • Make sure you’re using the correct recipient email address. If you aren’t, you may get error messages like Failed Delivery or Problem Found - Message Not Sent.
  • Sign out of your email account, and then sign back in.
  • Check your spam folder for missing messages.
  • Review your settings. Select the gear icon, then check:
    • Blocked addresses: Make sure you aren’t blocking addresses you want to get email from.
    • Filters: Check that emails are going to the correct folder.
  • Confirm you haven’t been hacked. Your account may be compromised if you’re:
    • Missing emails.
    • Receiving emails from your own email address.
    • Getting complaints about spam coming from your email address.
    • Seeing a display name that's different from the one you set up.

Please reach back out if you need any additional assistance.

Try logging in from here.  Currently.com - AT&T Yahoo Email, News, Sports & More

We are having the same issue and at least we could get in.  We're still trying to figure out how to update our apple mail.

We're afraid we're going to lose this email account--and we don't want to lose everything.

Since there are others with the same problem, what do we do with our sbcglobal.net email addresses.

Is there something we need to do to keep this older email address current?

I have been searching, but recommended links led to nothing.

I have been locked out of my sbcglobal email for 1 year. I have important information I need! I have tried all of the other desktop email services with the IMAP information and currently by ATT tells me my password is wrong and it is not. It won't let me change my password because it says I do not have security questions but I did with yahoo and recovery email information. This is ridiculous to keep us from our email. Is there a legitmate way to get into our email?

I faced somehow same issue for my mail [email scrubbed]. Most of comments on my gaming blog come in this email in past, but for past 6 months I'm unable to receive most of my emails due to this problem.
