Need help retrieving deleted sbcglobal email account
We need help retrieving our sbcglobal.net email address that we accidentally deleted. The account was accidentally deleted when my husband was trying to remove our email address as the recovery email from my inlaws' account. My husband spent about 6 hours on the phone with AT&T trying to get assistance with this, to no resolve. He kept getting transferred and no one could help. There doesn't seem to be a customer service specific to sbcglobal email issues. Please help.

You "may" not be able to or you absolutely can't? Is there a chance?

Hi there, JanCann !
Once an email is deleted, there is no way to recover it. With that said, we did reach out to see if there is an option. You may be able to recover it, but there is no guarantee. Once it is deleted, there is no way for us to recover it.
We hope this works!

I don't understand your message above. You said "there is no way to recover it", then you said "you may be able to recover it, but there is no guarantee". I'd like to try. PLease tell me how. Send instructions or tell me who to contact please.

Hi @JanCann , we apologize for the confusion. It was our mistake. We read the first request as lost email related, as in messages, not the entire email account. In working with our support teams, there is no way to recover a deleted email account. The recommendation is to create a new account, and attempt to use the username you had before.
We apologize for the confusion.
Thanks
