Login in Yahoo Mail using SBCGLOBAL
Everytime I try to login for my email I keep getting this error (
Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]) EVERYTIME I HAVE TO RESET MY PASSWORD EVEN THOUGH THE DAY BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO LOGIN WITHOUT INCIDENT. I clear out my Cached and clear the browsing history... Nothing is working I come back the next day and again when I try to login in I get the same error message even though this is the first time I've logged in. HOW CAN I FIX THIS???????

Let us explain why you're getting this error message, andrea_johnston0522.
We've discovered that the main reason some email users are continuously being prompted to sign in is because of bad actors trying to breach our customers' email accounts. We don't have an estimated time of resolution right now, but we're actively investigating this and blocking the IP addresses of the bad actors who are making these login attempts.
In the meantime, the best workaround that we have is to reset your password and clear your browser's cache and cookies to remove any stored password information.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on this! If you need help with anything else, just let us know.
Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community Forums.

I am having the exact same problem. I have been locked out of my sbcglobal.net email account that I have had for over 20 years. I get the message I've tried too many times, all the reset password efforts have failed. They want to send an email to my sbcglobal.net email to get a verification code, obviously I don't have access to that email to get the code. All else has failed. Called att they say it's a yahoo problem, called yahoo they say to call att. Noone can help me. I've been trying to get into my account for months. It's causing so many problems. Please tell me who can I contact to get access to my email. thank you

I had a chat notification, I responded. Told them I don't have access to my account, and no one has responded for over 20 minutes. So frustrating

This isn't a chat room. DM's are just private messages sent through this forum, but it's not like the ATTHelp person is waiting for your response. They'll either get to it when they get to it, maybe that person has gone off duty or maybe they will just ignore you. Hard to say since that all goes on behind closed doors.
In your case if you have no way to authenticate that you are the owner of that account (cell #, alternate email account or secret question answers) then there's a decent possibility that you won't be able to get back in....ever.
Maybe that's why they aren't responding, who knows. All you can do is keep checking back to see if that message icon lights the red dot up again.
