Locked out of Email

My account access has been locked out again due to many attempts, although I have not tried to log in. This happen to me last month, please help again.

Are you able to reset the password from your end? Give these steps a try:

  1. Go to http://sm.att.com/1d7118d3.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

not able to reset on my side, its the common issue alot of us had run into lately with log in. It happened to me mid june and was assisted with a reset by an AT&T specialist due to the glitch on the email system side.

Hey @zunigabrus , we understand how frustrating it is to constantly reset your password. Let's take a look together.

 

The 205 error code you're seeing is essentially due to bad actors who have been trying to access AT&T email accounts. We're aware this is happening, and are currently working towards a resolution. Learn more about the 205 error code and what we're doing to fix it.

In the meantime, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps:

Clear your browser's cache and cookies to remove any stored password information. Be sure to close and re-open your browser after doing so.

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete, OK, Clear, or Clear data button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

Reset your pasword using the Forgot password option.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Let us know if you were able to reset your password with the steps above, we may need to manually reset it.

I need a manual reset, it does not recognize my security answers. Its the same issue I have had in the past.

I still need help from my ATT community, the phone number provided does not do anything for me. In the past ive had ATTHelp assist me with reseting the issue. I hope they fix the glitch soon.
