We're here to help get you a new email account, @hilleralex!

To answer your question, you definitely can! We offer free email accounts for anyone who's interested. It's as simple as using our Currently sign up link and clicking 'Create Free Account'- no other services required!

Once you've gone through the steps of creating a new email address, there will be two ways in which you can check your AT&T email:

For signing in via web browser, just follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to currently.com.
  2. Select Mail.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Get your authentication security code. If you have more than one phone number on your account, choose which number should get your code.
  5. Enter the code and click Submit to sign in.

For an app or program, instructions may differ depending on what program you're wanting to use. Here's a couple relevant guides that should help you get set up:

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, and thanks for reaching out on the AT&T Community Forums!

I'm moving this thread to the Email forum.

Possible?  As ATTHelp Jarod pointed out, sure.

The real question is should you?  Take a look at the disaster that the Yahoo/AT&T email service has been in the last year by looking at the posts in this forum.  Then decide if you really want to trust any important correspondence to Yahoo/AT&T.
