Having to reset password daily

Every time I attempt to login to my email account I receive this message:

Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times.
Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]
I have to click on "forgot password" and reset my password every day. I just reenter my current password and it works. But then I have to repeat the process on my phone. It is a hassle. Is there anyway to prevent this from continuing?
Thank you

AT&T has been aware of this password reset problem for months. When will it be fixed??? It's outrageous to have to reset a password on several devices every two weeks.

Dont listen to the "ATT community support suggestion". The easiest and BEST solution...Cancel all your emails with ATT and go somewhere else. Nothing but grief dealing with them.

@cbr I suspect that may be the goal. I'm having to reset my password everyday which then means I have to re-enter the password on all devices where I access that email account. At first, I thought it was a way of weeding out the former AT&T customers, but I'm once again a current customer (stepped away for a bit). Because I suspect getting rid of email may be the goal, I've become more stubborn in holding on. Plus, I've had this account for 13 years. Too many contacts and email threads to lose unless I take an enormous amount of time to forward to another account.

Getting rid of email is not the goal.  If it were, then all AT&T email accounts would be affected, not just the relatively small number we have now.

You can move everything to a Gmail account if you want with hardly any effort on your part. Gmail's Settings have an Import tool in Accounts & Import that will automatically bring all of your email over (including folders) and also, if checked, your contact list.  Then it will continue to automatically bring over any new emails that arrive for the next 30 days.

You'd still need to contact people/places to change your email account on record, which admittedly is a chore.
