Email will not keep me logged in

My email consistently logs me out and then gives me the Care Code: 201 [LU100] error until I reset my password.  It happens at least once a day on one of my devices and I have to reset passwords on every device. Is there a reason this keeps happening?  It will even kick me off when I am actively logged in and then tell me my password is incorrect.  I am very frustrated.  In fact, in trying to post this question, it is giving me the finger again!  Are there any solutions that will stop this?

We would suggest clearing your cache and cookies from the device or browser you are using. This can assist with your email constantly logging you out.

Please let us know if the previous steps helped with keeping you signed into your email.

I have done the clearing cache and cookies and it didn’t help.  I have read through a lot of suggestions on this forum and tried everything I can do on my own.  I have tried using different browsers to see if that changes things.  Nope.

We're aware that this is happening to several email users, and we're currently working on a resolution. We have an article here in the Forums that covers the 205 care code. It's similar to the 201 care code, in that it can prevent users from logging in, or prevent them from staying logged in.

 

In the meantime, please reset your password when prompted. Some users have been able to avoid the care code by using the forgot password option.

I'm sure you mean well - but that is by no means helpful. I have neither the time nor energy to reenter passwords every day on the 7 devices that need access to the one email address.

No one at ATT will admit it, but people at their brick and mortar stores have told me that ATT is harassing free email customers (ATT, pacbell, sbcglobal, etc) to leave. ATT has decided that they don't make enough money on ads to continue whatever small support is needed to keep these going. (Edited per community guidelines).

Please let me know if there is a solution. I tried to go the yahoo+ $5 per month route and that worked for awhile but now the password reset is back.
