What happens when you push the MAIL icon on the upper right?

It circles back on itself to the login screen.   Has the correct user ID    and on the same line   "signed in",     

"signed in"?  I've never seen that.  Can you attach a screen shot of that page (mask out your name if you wish and your e-mail address if it appears).

You might also try using incognito mode to see if that makes a difference.

And when you click on your user id, you return back to the currently home page?
