Email logon failure
Unable to logon my att yahoo email account despite repeated tries. Chat with tech support for hours, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, no joy. They referred me to 877-267-2859. Eventually after automated questions and live agent, she transferred me to internal tech support, who could only help me if I gave them my ATT acct no. Which I don't have, only att yahoo email. So they said, ah, fix it by phoning these guys, at (wait for it), 877-267-2859. Please help.
It would be funny if only it were not a crucial email account.

I am dealing with this issue now. I have been getting the full run-around since APRIL, 2023, when my login suddenly failed for no apparent reason. I still do not have access to my account, so I just want to close it in order prevent a hack. I cannot even get through to the number they offered you (and me). It rings to a busy tone every time. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. How is it that I cannot obtain access to MY email account of some 30 years? In any case, I am now with gmail but still need to close the old account. Let me know if you ever found a way to resolve your issue.
