Email constantly logging me out or making me reset my password

AT&T email keeps logging me out several times a day. I will also say due to inactivity please reset your password. I am on my computer several hours a day for work and there is no inactivity. I have tried everything and nothing changes the situation. Please fix this issue -- beyond annoying

We want to make sure you can access your email without having to constantly reset your password, @Ltunes

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. At this time, the only workaround is to reset your password whenever you're locked out. You can still keep the same password.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

No one at ATT will admit it, but people at their brick and mortar stores have told me that ATT is harassing free email customers (ATT, pacbell, sbcglobal, etc) to leave. ATT has decided that they don't make enough money on ads to continue whatever small support is needed to keep these going. (Edited per community guidelines).

Please let me know if there is a solution. I tried to go the yahoo+ $5 per month route and that worked for awhile but now the password reset is back.

So annoying. I have to keep resetting the password on my PC and then it also locks me out of my phone. So ridiculous and they need to fix this glitch.

This has been going on for months, and I don't believe ATT has any intention of fixing it! It happens every single day. No excuse for this except that ATT doesn't care.

I shared this on a similar post. Maybe it can help some of you.

I found another forum post regarding error Care Code 201, which is what I see when I get locked out on my phone. https://forums.att.com/conversations/att-mail-login-security/care-code-201/62f34c8c7a05d965454a23dc

In that forum post, @cal2022 said he deleted the Yahoo app from his phone. He then restarted his phone and accessed email through his phone's browser. I was able to do this and save the browser link to a page so I can easily open my email. It's only been a day but so far it has worked. I have my fingers crossed.

I don't dare log in on any other devices because I have two working successfully.

Since this is only a problem when using a browser and the Currently AT&T Mail web page (no issues with the Mail App on phones and tablets) I recommend using the BlueMail app for Windows Desktop instead. It works perfectly and I don't have to deal with that constant password reset issue anymore.

@problemchild1  It's interesting that you don't have an issue with the phone app. I've found that I am able to avoid this issue by using Chrome to access my email on my PC and Chromebook but if I try to use the Android app, the problem persists. I have been using the Chrome browser on my phone to access email for the past few weeks and so far I have avoided the issue which previously happened multiple times per day. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by posting this!

I was having the constant login problem on Firefox and MS Edge. (I use the Chrome browser for my actual Yahoo Mail so I can't say) My wife has no issues with AT&T Mail using her Chrome browser. But the AT&T Mail apps work fine on my Samsung tablet and Pixel phone and Blue Mail works great on my Windows PC.

Same here....been going on for months if not a full year now.  I don't believe you are trying to fix this problem.
