Constantly having to reset my AT&T Yahoo Email Password

I have an @sbcglobal.net email account that I access through AT&T Yahoo mail. However, every two weeks it says "I've exceeded the maximum number of login attempts" even though I only tried once. This has been happening for nearly two years. The only way around this is to reset my password, but that means I have to do it on all the devices I access this email through. Why does AT&T constantly make me reset my password to access this email?

We understand that constantly having to reset your password can be frustrating, jenksptl.

This is a known issue that we're working to resolve. We encourage you to read our article about Care Code: 205.2 for more information about why this is happening, what we're doing to fix it, and find workarounds.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums. We appreciate your patience!

I'm not sure what the error code is but if it's true that you've been working on this issue, how come every two weeks for at least the past two years I've had to reset my password because of the alert that says "I've exceeded the maximum number of login attempts" even when its the first time I've logged in that day to check my email? You're really working on it?

Oh look, it September 25th and I'm now getting the same error code 205.2 saying I've exceeded the maximum number of login attempts despite this being the first time I logged in to my account today. Once again, I now have to reset my password. This (Edited per community guidelines)!
