change password on an email subaccount

I need to change the password for a subuser in my at&t account

Hi there, @karlgking. We understand that you need to change the password for a subaccount user. We can help you with that. 

 

You will need to reset the password.  In order to reset the password, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

 Let us know if you run into any errors, and we will resolve them together.

Hello, I currently use an bellsouth.net email address and have been using it for 20 plus years. Over the past 2 months or so, it seems like WEEKLY my login password stops working and I have to reset it in order for it to work. What's happening? Or why am I being forced to change my passwords so frequently? This happens about every 7 days or so.

Hey @Terwhite, we understand your frustration and would be happy to help you with the constant password resets for your email.

 

What you're experiencign is an ongoing trend that we're working to get resolved as soon as possible. We'd recommend setting up your email with OAuth or a secure mail key. They will help encyrpt your username and password to protect it from hackers and fraudsters. We also suggest setting up text messages for password resets. This'll be helpful if you need to reset your password and have no where to send a temporary passcode to.

I am trying to reset a password on the sub account. The password reset doesn't work as it gives an error. And the screen on the management  page requires the current password. Please advise
