I tried to log in 1 time and got this message. can anyone help with this?

Let's get you logged back into your email, @thebowersgroup.
If you're getting a care code 205.2 error, the best course of action you can take to access your email is to reset your email password. You can follow these steps to do so:
Once you've reset your password, please make sure to change your credentials over to your new login info on all of your email applications if you have any, as trying to access them with your old credentials still in place may potentially lead to another care code error.

My friend is locked out of her Yahoo/ATT email. So, she cannot post to the forum because she cannot create a user account as one must be able to access their email account to create the forum account. So, I'm posting her situation in hopes of getting her a solution. She is getting CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]. To reset the password, it takes here to a screen where she has to put in security question answers. But she never set up security question answers. She is not presented with the option for a temporary password. It seems many are getting the error. She also has tried different browser and done so on her laptop and cell phone, without success. What is the fix for her log-in problem?

We understand your friend's frustration at not being able to login, and we are here to help resolve that, jecross12.
This error is caused by someone trying and failing to login to their account to many times. We can fix this by inviting her to a Direct Message to get her account fixed up, but we will need to speak with her. She should be able to create an AT&T Community account and use a different e-mail than the one she is having issues posting with.

Donovan - Thank you for your assistance. We setup a new email for her, tested it for log-on, all OK. Logged off the email. Then setup a forum ID for her. Now we cannot get into the new email to get the verification link for her to post to the forum. Would giving you her forum ID help to move this forward? I setup one of my emails as the recovery email for her new email account and I am not receiving the emails to recover the new account! Not sure what's going on. Hacked?
Verify code showed in my email. Entered and was taken to create new password. Did so and then got the following message:

Donovan,
She has a forum account, but the ATT email keeps giving an "email cannot be verified" error. So, she still cannot post to the forum. Not sure how to fix that problem.

If you're getting a care code 205.2 error when signing into your email, we recommend either waiting 24 hours before trying again or resetting your email password to regain access. You can reset your email password by following these steps:
Resetting your email password should allow you to log back in without issue.

Thank you.
However, your proposed solution does not work. Only security questions are asked, which I did not setup. I cannot get the temporary password option to populate. How can I proceed so I can get my email account restored?
Note, my FaceBook account was hacked and my primary email was on that account. Is it possible that someone has hacked my email?

Elmi,
These steps were performed yesterday and also just completed today:
Browsers Edge and Chrome
Laptops Acer and Dell
Cell phone Android
First attempt on each system and browser combination for the laptops and also with the cell phone, generated the care code.
Active ATT service at this point is only through currently.
Thank you for the assistance. It is imperative that I get my primary email up and running again.

Hey there 2 U,
There is a bell with a user emoji next to it, no chat icon. I just received a second message in the main string asking for the personal information of email, etc., so Ok to just type it in the string?
