cant log into my email

I forgot my password and to reset the password, ATT requires I answer two security questions. I apparently do not have the correct answer and there is no other way to unlock my email account.

I have a ATT email address but internet service is not ATT. The email is Bellsouth.net. I just need it unlocked but I can’t get past the security questions.

what site are you actually using? have you tried currently.com? Try and go to that site but only click on the user icon and after that, click on manage accounts. After that just do what it tells you to do.

Instead of choosing the option to answer your security questions, try the option to receive a temporary password so that you can reset your password and sign in.

 

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose temporary password and follow the prompts. We’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Once you're signed in, be sure to update your security questions and answers and set up text messages for password resets.

There is not an option for choosing the temporary password. That is the problem.

There is not an option to choose security questions or temporary password. It goes straight to security questions

Even on currently.com from forgot password I am taken to a page asking user ID and last name. I enter that and it directs to a page with security questions. There are no other options.

So I was told ATT cannot unlock my email if I cannot answer the two security questions. I was told to just get a new email,address. Surely that is not the correct response. I have the password but am locked out.
