Can’t access my att/yahoo email

I can’t recover my password from my att/yahoo email. I haven’t been able to for years after it’s locked me out for not remembering my security questions. I’m at my whits end here! Yahoo is no good as it makes you pay for premium contact support? I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone from ATT who could unlock my account but I don’t see a contact phone number anywhere. Someone please help!

Good to know:

 

  1. Go to currently.com.
  2. Select Mail.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Get your authentication security code. If you have more than one phone number on your account, choose which number should get your code.
  5. Enter the code and click Submit to sign in.

If you recently changed the password for your AT&T user ID, try to sign in to your email using that new password. If that doesn’t work, reset your password:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot Password?
  3. Complete the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts.
    (If you choose temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.)
  5. Create your new password.

Please note: 

 

If you cancel your AT&T Internet account, you will still have access to your account as long as your account is in good standing. If there is a balance owed on the AT&T internet account, you will lose access to the email until it is resolved.  If you break terms and conditions, the email will be deactivated.

We (my late mother & I) made emails at sbcglobal.net many years ago, when we had home phone, internet & cable through AT&T. Eventually, there was some kind of merging with Yahoo, but my email remained the same. I was always able to use it, even when I no longer had any services through AT&T. Now, beginning sometime around April, AT&T denies me access to my email. Two times, with a lot of frustration & some help from agents of varying ability, I’ve been able to reset things & regain access, but then it stops recognizing whatever latest password got successfully implemented, & refuses access. This is so maddening. I can’t even get codes on my cell phone, no matter how many times I try to set that up, & receive a message that, after awhile, it will work. I think this is because my cell phone service is no longer with AT&T. I have no services with AT&T anymore, frankly because I can’t afford them, plus the “service” was so bad. HOW can I resolve this & be able to use my email?! I can’t afford to lose it, for many reasons.

I am kicked out of my sbcglobal email...I have tried the currently.com it doesn't work bc it keeps asking for ATT account info.....I don't have an ATT account.  how do I get back in to it

The suggestion by ATT below doesnt work if you no longer have ATT account....keeps asking for ATT user ID
