cannot login to POP3 email server, even after resetting password.

I cannot send or receive email from my PC Outlook 2021 app. It cannot login to POP3 email server, even after resetting password.

The error message is:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.  The server responded: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.

Send test email message: The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

This started happening when I installed Microsoft OneDrive. All my files uploaded successfully except for my email .PST files.

Tried repairing email account looked like it was successful, however Outlook still will not send/receive emails.

I did find somewhere is my searches, that the email accounts reside in the windows registry, and I'm wondering if OneDrive being on the web has anything to do with the profile being corrupted.

I was able to access the email on the currently yahoo account on-line without my contacts and all the other Outlook data.

CANNOT EVEN TALK TO A REAL PERSON ON THE PHONE!!

No help ATT.T here either!

No help from Microsoft even after installing OneDrive and corrupting the Microsoft Outlook app it could NOT find any of my *.PST files.

I had to to uninstall Onedrive and go find my PST files back local drive where they were originally.

We understand how it makes you feel, we're here to shed some lights @DAVIDCORP!

Our support may be fairly limited when it comes to third-party mail apps, but we’d be happy to provide you with any information we have so that you can recover your PST file and can send/receive emails through Outlook.

To make sure your AT&T Email is Set Up and Updated properly, we recommend setting it to IMAP instead of POP to provide you the best service possible. Use the drop-down for instructions tailored to your version of Outlook.

You can find more email tips with our Email Not Working: Troubleshooting Information article, including information on using 3rd party mailboxes.

If you’re receiving the error even though you did not run a repair, it may be a good idea to repair that PST file using Microsoft’s repair tools. You can click here for a guide on repairing damaged PST files.

If you already have run this tool, or the repair tool did not fix the issue, then there may be a backup of your PST file for you to import. If you look further down the page for the article I provided, it will tell you how to import the backup of your damaged PST file for use.

Please let us know if you’re able to recover your database file, and able to send/receive email.
