Bellsouth.net email continually saying too many attempts

Almost everytime I am signing into my bellsouth.net email account (on any device), I am getting an error message that too many attempts have been made and I am forced to reset the password.  It does not seem to matter whether I use the same password or a new one, within a day I am getting the same message.  Any ideas on why or how to solve this issue?

Please take a look at our article on how to Stay signed in to Currently. You'll find information on disabling software that clears your cookies (which causes you to have to sign in again), using the Keep me signed in option, and more.

The article was not helpful.  Every time I log in on a new device, I am required to reset my password because the system is reporting having had too many login attempts.  It is very frustrating.  There are multiple threads and people having the same issue.  Is there a solution?

I was contacted via DM and connected via live chat with a tech that was helpful.   He verified my account/identity and then synched my email address within the AT&T systems.  I asked what that meant but did not get any additional details.  Regardless, it seems to have solved my issue and I wanted to provide some positive feedback.  I have been able to sign into my email account across multiple devices the last day and a half without resetting my password.

I spoke way too soon.  The last month every time an email password times out on any device I am forced to reset the password as the system says the same message as before:  too many attempts blah blah blah.  It is very frustrating as I access email on multiple devices.  Any ideas?
