at&t email keeps logging me out when i do anything else or away. i saw the clear cache/cookies advice, but it is on all 4 devices i have. i check the 'keep me logged in' option everytime. it doesnt matter.
Very disappointed that I have now been waiting for over 50 minutes for your requested DM chat agent. After verifying my email thru the link you provided and receiving your "Authentication successful!" message, he asked me for my email address again , " Just to make sure that I am working with the correct one." That was provided immediately and now, 20 minutes later, no response. Please contact me by phone with your resolution.
@MaryAnnAnderson I also had a long wait with the ATT Chat Agent after verifying, then was asked for my ATT internet account number, etc., but at least the agent said he/she would be in a meeting for a couple of hours. The next day, I was asked to send screenshots to the engineers at an email address, which I did last Friday, 6/10 and still no response.
Same issue here over the past several days when trying to login from my MacBook Air. I am on MacOS Monterey v12.4, Safari, version 15.5. The error message I keep getting upon trying to log in is:
Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]y
I have been clearing my browser history; no luck. Yesterday I reset my password and then was able to log in. But today, same issue has come back where it is rejecting my password. I have not had any issues viewing my email from my iPhone13 Pro.
To join this forum, AT&T said I needed to create a forum account and emailed me a One-Time-PIN. Gee...good thing I can still read my email from my phone or this post would have been impossible. Bad process if I am trying to post that I can't access my email yet AT&T requests via email that I set up a one-time-PIN in order to access this forum. Might I suggest an option to enter a phone number to receive an OTP via text?
@NewName Thank you for your response. They should have everything they need to fix this issue that started at the beginning of June 2022 and they know it is not caused by the customer. We are all having the same issue and some of the agents above state that their engineering team is still working on a solution. Honesty would go a long way instead of further frustration and time wasted.
@DeadEye57 I'm on the 15th day of the time out issue with no resolution yet. It has been 10 days since I had a Direct Message chat with ATTHelp who had me send an email to the engineers with screenshots, then they closed the chat session and I have not heard back from anyone ATT with what actions are being taken other than the generic messages on other posts that their engineers are working on it.
I called AT&T tech support 844-601-4909 on Saturday. They had me do another password reset. That fixed it for the day. Didn’t check login yesterday, but upon trying to login today, same issue again. Thankfully, I am still able to access my email from my phone. So I guess I’ll have to live with that until they figure it out. Sorry for those folks who are unable to access their email from any device. AT&T should at least post a message banner on their currently.att.yahoo.com page letting people know they are aware of the problem and working on it.
I have been having the same issues it's ridiculous. I am ready to move to gmail but have sooo much on my att account. I have to keep entering my password and reset it all the time.

Has anyone else been treated this way?
