att email keeps logging me out

at&t email keeps logging me out when i do anything else or  away.  i saw the clear cache/cookies advice, but it is on all 4 devices i have. i check the 'keep me logged in' option everytime. it doesnt matter.

We suggest attempting to login using our Currently website. Since Currently is supported by AT&T, using it minimizes any outside influences that may be causing the inability to login.

 

If you are getting any type of error when logging in, we will need to know what specific error it is. This will help us make sure we give you the correct assistance in getting this resolved.

 

We also suggest resetting your password, as this will help make sure your account is properly synced to our network, which would stop the repeated login requests.

Same issue here.  Switched to classic but still after about 1 hour or so when I click Inbox(used to retrieve mail) it now wants me to sign in again.  I have checked keep me signed in.  Chrome/Firefox/multiple accounts.

I didn't do anything.  but, after i made this post, it stopped right after. It had been about a week. But after i made this post, it stopped thereafter the post itself.

I'm having the same problem.  Had to login 12 times in one day.  Going on for over 2 weeks. Keeps logging me out saying it hasn't been used in awhile even though I was composing an email. Reported to Yahoo, said to call ATT. given ID# said I would hear by email.  That was awhile ago and I've heard nothing.  He said he was going to escalate the case to back office which will go to Yahoo.  Said to try private browsing/incognito and that didn't work either.  I use Chrome, but tried on Edge and it still did the same. Changed password 3 days in a row. I am to the point of cancelling my service if this doesn't get resolved soon.  

I'm hoping you can help.

We see that you've tried using Chrome, and also recommend trying Firefox, to rule out the browsers.

 

We also recommend checking our our aticle on Troubleshooting Your Email. It includes helpful information such as:

  • Clear Cache and Cookies - The most common fix
  • Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it
  • Test signing in to your webmail using another browser
  • Disable browser tools or add-ons - varies by device and browser
  • Disable your firewall - varies by device and browser

I've been having the same problem for a week.  Tried clearing my cache, tried both MS Edge and Chrome, tried 2 different computers, tried talking to AT&T and Yahoo, still have the problem!

We've recently been noticing a lot of customers reporting this issue, and our engineering team has been made aware that some customers are getting logged out for seemingly no reason.

 

The cause is currently under investigation, and we appreciate your patience with us as we work to try and resolve this.

This has been happening for weeks for me as well.  Doesn't matter what browser I use, I've cleared all caches/cookies, rebooted the system multiple times, it won't even work having to put in a cell phone number "to ensure it's me", which I NEVER opted for being contacted by any cell phone number and find extremely irritating and intrusive that I have to give it or won't be allowed into my email.  I can't update or verify any information once in my account without being logged out again with a "something went wrong, let's try again" message and I have to repeat the whole process again.
