Almost DAILY I have to reset my password. this is getting old

Every time I try to log into my email online, it does not recognize my password and I have to reset it.  this is ALMOST DAILY!  Yes I know how passwords work, Yes I am using the correct password, both spelling and capitalization.  This has been going on for a few months now.  I have changed to a new password, same result.  I have just reused the password it is supposed to be, same result.  It is getting to the point that I am having to reset it EVERTIME I log in the next day.  If I just give up and not reset it, I can still receive my email on my phone email app, but not through a web browser.  Of course as soon as I reset my password, I have to go reset it on my phone also for that to work again.  When this first started I would get an error when trying to log ion that there were too many attempts to log in and I would have to reset it.  Now it just says the password is incorrect.  I do not use common passwords for obvious reasons so I don't think someone else is hacking in and changing it.  I also only get an alert the password for my att account has changed on my secondary non att email when I have to recover it again.  That also supports that no one is hacking in and changing it

We can explain why you're having to change your password so often, bdwillie.

 

This is due to bad actors who are trying to access AT&T email accounts. We're aware that this is happening to quite a few people, and we're currently working on a resolution. You can get more information about why this is happening and what we're doing to fix it in our article that discusses the dreaded 205 error code.

 

In the meantime, clear your browser's cache and cookies every so often to remove any stored password information. Be sure to close and relaunch your browser afterward.
