Abruptly locked out of my att.net email account

I have a very old phone (POTS) wireline att.net email account I use everyday and now I am unable to access.  I tried to reset my password, but my user id, billing zip code, and contact email were rejected.  I am now locked out.  I urgently need access to my att.net email account.  Can you please provide a phone number to help resolve this urgent matter?

We'd be glad to help you unlock your email account, worldnet1111.

 

Clear your browser's cache and cookies to remove your stored password information. Not clearing the cache and cookies from time to time can result in log in errors and random password reset requests.

 

Afterward, try to reset your password again. We recommend using the Forgot password option on myAT&T.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Thank you for your response, but I was still unable to request a temporary password.  User ID and contact email were rejected.  I finally resolved my lockout issue by calling 1-800-288-2020 and request an agent or real person.
