Spam folder shows on this acct:

Doesn't show on this acct: (there are emails in spam folder as viewed on WEB or other email client)

I "sort of" figured this out.  If I just expanded the TRASH folder (in the FOLDERS heading), then the SPAM folder appeared under the account heading.  This is actually a deeper issue with FOLDERS/SUB-FOLDERS "BULK" folder vs "BULK MAIL" folder and of course SPAM folder.  I use THUNDERBIRD as email client, somehow, when I updated certain settings in THUNDERBIRD, the YAHOO mobile app was resolved (so far).  If you DO use THUNDERBIRD and had an issue similar to mine, you might want to read about it here:  https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/xdfqub/junk_bulk_folder_in_trash_yahoo_mail/
