Valid Email in SPAM Folder
After 5 + years of receiving emails from quora, com (all valid) without issue, within the last month all emails from that domain are now going into the spam folder. All addresses are in my contacts and the filters I had were all operating correctly without issue. No matter how many times I select the emails and declare NOT SPAM and they then go back to my inbox, newly received emails still are going into the spam folder. I am a paid contributor (I answer questions that I receive) on quora. This action on emails that I want and are necessary require that I go line by line through the SPAM folder as yahoo does not allow the SPAM folder to be searched. What is the problem? Why are emails from this valid domain being censored without exception?

Hi there, kenshi. We understand that your Quora.com emails are going into Spam. Those are legitimate emails. We can help you with that.
We recommend that you set up mail filters. Follow these simple steps:
These filters should reroute the emails to your inbox or a folder that you designate for them to go in.
After trying these steps, let us know if they work for you.

I have done as you suggested and replaced the existing filters with new ones, the emails are still going into spam. The emails from quora and the filters I had in place have not had any issues for over 5 years (1.3k emails) until the last month or so, and additionally the help instruction state that simply selecting NOT SPAM for the emails in question should fix the issue, IT DOES NOT. It is obvious that something has changed within the yahoo spam decision tree regarding quora.com.

Let's work on why your emails keep getting sent to spam @kenshi
If you're having problems with getting emails routed to the right place, you may want to some troubleshooting steps to see if that fixes the issue. Here are a few things you can do:
Clear Cache and Cookies - A very common fix.
Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it.
Test signing in to your webmail using another browser.
Disable browser tools or add-ons - varies by device and browser.
Use a private browser- varies by device and browser.
If you're still having email issues after that, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to see what other options we can provide.
We look forward to hearing back from you!

Johan,
Addressing each one of your suggestions:
1. This is all on my HP laptop running win 11. I do not access or send email from a smart phone.
2. I do this every week but I did it as you suggested as well
3. I am now running the Brave privacy browser Version 1.57.53 Chromium: 116.0.5845.114 (Official Build) (64-bit), I was commonly using GAPs Dissenter privacy browser Version 1.5.114 Chromium: 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit), but it is no longer supported.
4. No tools or add-ons running.
5. The only browsers I use are privacy browsers.
There has been no change until yesterday (8/25) when ALL quora.com emails stopped showing up anywhere. I contacted Quora and their tech support said that all emails to me are being sent, that I have no issues on their end.
So my receipt of QUORA email issue has progressed from everything working ok for 5+ years to for the last 1 1/2-2 months Quora emails automatically being sent to the Spam folder no matter what I do, to NOW no Quora emails are showing up anywhere. Quora tech support suspects the emails from them are being rejected by yahoo for some reason.
So let me ask the question I have been asking for the last almost 2 months: What is going on? It appears that the quora.com domain being treated as a spam generator by yahoo. I realize a lot of stupid people do not realize they can stop Quora emails by going to their Ouora account preference and deselecting what they had already asked for, and instead are crying and complaining that Quora emails are spam.
I am a retired Aerospace Electrical and Mechanical Aerospace engineer, a system admin, a hardware and software engineer, and an Electronics technician so I am not a complete neophyte in this area.
Please fix this or tell me how I can!

Well,
Following the troubleshooting advice of Quora tech support to verify that it is a yahoo issue I added a secondary email address to my Quora account and I immediately started receiving emails from Quora on my email address of my CenturyLink ISP. Quora emails are being sent simultaneously to both my addresses and the ones being sent to my Centurylink email address are being received, my ATT email nothing. Why is Yahoo censoring email being sent from a valid web site, Why is yahoo censoring the email of a user? If is a mistake fix it, if it is a purposeful act I can not be the only user being affected. Why is one of the premium providers of phone and internet (ATT) utilizing such a (Edited per community guidelines)ty email service such as yahoo? What other emails being sent to me am I not receiving?
