use of microphone to voice type in AT&T email

Voice to Text is possible depending on the device you are using. The majority of smartphones and computers have this feature you just need to turn it on in your settings. 

If you have an Apple device use these steps to enable Voice to Text:
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard, then turn on Enable Dictation.

Using an Android device, follow these steps to tun on Voice to Text:

1. On your phone or tablet, open any app that you can type with, like Messages.
2. Tap where you can enter text.
3. At the top of the keyboard, tap Settings. Voice typing.
4. Turn Assistant voice typing on or off.

This does vary by phone model, so be sure to check your user manual for instructions! To view your manual, head over to our Device Support page. Select your make and model, scroll to the bottom, and select user manual. Once in here, search for “Speech” or "Google Voice” to find this feature.
