Spam Emails though sbcglobal email account
I get 40 to 60 spam emails every day for the last week or so. I block the sender yet it continues. Can't it be stopped from Yahoo/AT&T end? My corporate email address and Gmail email addresses does not get spam emails at all.
This is ridiculous.

Yes, mark them as spam instead of blocking the sender. In my experience, the yahoo spam filters work fairly well. Very few spam emails get through to my inbox.

Follow up to post: The spam emails are making it through in Outlook to Junk Folder. When getting emails through Yahoo email app, most are not there. As mentioned, being flooded with spams emails just started about a week ago. Also happend one other time in the last year.

Hi there, @JH67. We understand that you are getting flooded with spam. We can help you with that.
You have already completed what is need to block the sender of the spam, but not the spam itself. According to our reporting spam article, the best way to get rid of spam is to report it. You can report the spam by forwarding the email to abuse@att.net. Make sure that you forward full hearer of the email, so we can know exactly where the email comes from.
If there is anything else that we can do for you, please let us know.
Thank you for posting on the AT&T Forums.

@ATTHelp, I have been forwarding the spam email to abuse@att.net. Absolutely not wtorking, still receiving 20-30 spam emails per day. Received an email from the department that handles the abuse, as was told that they could only stop the spam emails that orginated from an AT&T email address. Not helpful at all.

The problem here is that ATT uses out money to hire a rogue company (yahoo) to manage email and ATT will not monitor them and let their customers suffer. I have created filters in Thunderbird and route all spam to a trash folder on my PC and then open yahoo mail and move the spam from trash folder on yahoo to the spam folder on yahoo.
